Key Stage 4
In Key Stage 4 (year 10 and 11), pupils follow a chosen programme of study for their GCSE courses. Most pupils take 10 GCSE examinations, studying a compulsory core of English, English literature, Arabic, mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics. Pupils choose three optional subjects from the list below.
Optional subjects:
History
Geography
Design Technology
Art
Drama
Religious Studies
In addition all pupils study Islamic studies, Quran and PE.
EAL Pathway
Our EAL Pathway is designed for pupils who arrive with a lower level of English.
Students on the EAL Pathway study a core of mathematics, applied science, ESL (English as a scond language) and Arabic. Pupils on the EAL Pathway choose three optional subjects from the list below.

Applied Science
Sport
IT
Business
Performing Arts
In addition all pupils study Islamic studies, Quran and PE.
