HE Mr Abdullah Alshaghrood was educated at the Institute of Diplomatic Studies in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and attained his BSc in Political Sciences from Weber State University in the United Stated of America. He joined the diplomatic services in 1981 as an Attaché and served in Diplomatic Missions in Doha-Qatar, London-United Kingdom and Berlin-Germany. From 2006 he worked as Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Head of Mission at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in London.
In September 2010 Mr Alshaghrood became the Ambassador of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in The Hague. He is also a Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
