Our children can explore the world from their classrooms in West London. They can also explore the wonders of our Capital City in support of that learning. This is because at the heart of the IB Programme is the need to investigate, enquire and explore – and to go further than questions of what and who into areas of how and why. Our pupils will:
- be encouraged to think independently and drive their own learning
- take part in programmes of education that can lead them to some of the highest ranking universities around the world
- become more culturally aware, through the development of a second language be able to engage with people in an increasingly globalized, rapidly changing world.
IB pupils develop strong academic, social and emotional characteristics. They are also likely to perform well academically – often better than students on other programmes.
The qualifications gained at 16+ and 18+ under the IB Programmes are now recognized and accepted in the UK and around the world. As a result, our pupils have been able to access some of the finest universities in the UK, in Europe, in the United States and around the world. Recent years have brought particularly strong performances against international standards. The grading may be different but the achievements are excellent!
