Students at the King Fahad Academy are taking part in a pedometer challenge, taking place during walk to school week 17th –21st May 2010. It is designed to get pupils out walking and recording their steps at the end of the day. Those who participate will receive prizes and the the boy and girl with the highest steps from all of the participating schools in Ealing will be presented with an ipod touch 32gb!

Polka Theatre
KG1 went to Polka theatre on 25/02/2009 to watch The Jolly Post man show as part of their social studies (community helpers). The show was very enjoyable and the children liked it very much.
World Book Day
Reading is the cornerstone to a lifelong ability to access information and entertainment from the world around us. Every opportunity to encourage children to read should be grasped with both hands and that’s exactly what we did here at the Academy on Thursday 5th March when we celebrated World Book Day with a wide range of activities.
On September 29, King Fahad Academy hosted its annual Open House to parents for the 2009-2010 school year. Dr. Sumaya Alyusuf opened the evening with a welcome address and brief review of the Academy’s mission and goals.
This year Eid Al-Fitr and Saudi National Day celebrations were held on the same day. All the students were involved in preparing presentations and assemblies to mark the two special occasions.
