Parent Teacher Association King Fahad Academy’s PTA was setup to achieve the following objectives: • Helping PTA members to become better parents, teachers and citizens. • Building strong partnerships between home, school and the community. • Encouraging parents’ involvement in KFA school life. Alumni Association The newly established King Fahad Academy Alumni Association (2007) was set up to develop a strong, dependable, organized network of KFA alumni able to guide through leadership and motivation a range of activities and services that can enhance the learning experiences for KFA students. KFA Alumni Association sponsors activities that bring alumni together in meaningful ways that aim to promote and build support for the Academy and its community. Religious advisor The school has a religious advisor onsite whose role is to reinforce students’ sense of religious identity whilst encouraging them to demonstrate evidence of caring for themselves, people around them and the planet at large. This is achieved through community service projects integrated into the curriculum at all grade levels. These projects aim to foster an awareness of others' needs and instil in pupils an attitude of acceptance of difference and an emphasis on shared human values. Student Counselling & Career Advice Centre KFA offers many English courses for students who require improvement in their English Language skill, Grammar, Conversation. All these English classes are offered in the school by professional English Native Speakers teachers. Student Trips & Activities KFA Students’ learning only starts in the classroom but rarely ends there. Through a carefully planned extracurricular programme, KFA students are guaranteed participation in a range of activities that aim to foster their moral, physical and emotional development. Some examples of these activities are Class Assemblies, celebration of national events e.g. National Science & Engineering Week, National Women's Day, and trips to places such as the National Science Museum, the London Aquarium and Kew Gardens.
