The King Fahad Academy is located at Bromyard Avenue, Acton, London W3 7HD. The Bromyard Avenue site exceeds 5.5 acres with modern buildings of bright attractive design equipped to a high standard and is easily accessible by both road and rail. The nearest underground station is East Acton on the Central Line. Mosque The King Fahad Academy boasts a spacious and beautifully designed mosque which was built for school use only, with full ablution facilities. All students, boys and girls, are required to attend noon prayers each day. Juma prayer is observed every Friday. Learning Resources Room The Academy has a multimedia room equipped with ten high specification PC’s, an Interactive White Board and an integrated Sound System. Nursery The King Fahad Academy has a purpose built Early Learning Centre which provides a safe and stimulating environment for the youngsters aged 3-5. The nursery is equipped with two computers, arts & craft stations and various educational and recreational equipment. An outdoor play area is also available. Lower Schools The Academy has two separate schools at primary level; one for boys and one for girls. Lower school students follow a broad and balanced course of studies which include the following subjects: Islamic studies, Arabic language, English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Art and Music and many other activities. Physical education and outdoor sports play an important part in the lower school life. The Girls Lower School has an ICT Room with 20 PCs and an Interactive White Board. All the Lower School class rooms are equipped with a computer, projector and Interactive Wite Board, as well as an integrated Sound System. There is a separate and well equipped gymnasium for each school. Boys’ and Girls’ Upper Schools The Academy has two separate schools at Upper School level, a Boys’ School and Girls’ School. In addition to its classrooms, both Upper schools have four science laboratories which cater for the tuition of physics, chemistry and biology. Each school has a computer room equipped with twenty PCs, and an Interactive White Board. Both Upper Schools also benefit from access to art rooms, a music room, a two-story library, a dining hall, an assembly hall complete with stage, a well-equipped gymnasium and a large playground and an astro-turf football pitch. Each school has 10 classrooms equipped with a computer, projector and Interactive White Board, as well as an integrated Sound System
